Should I choose Yichang or Chonhqing to start the Yangtze River cruise ?

Yichang/Chongqing is upstream and it takes 4 nights and 5days, while Chongqing/Yichang is downstream

with only 3 nights and 4 days. You can arrange the trip according to your time. No matter if you do the upstream or downstream, you will be able to enjoy the Three Gorges thoroughly, as the ship passes them during the day time.

How does the Front Desk of a ship allot its cabins on different floors to passengers?

According to the common practice of the ships running on the Yangtze River, the front desk will assign any cabin available of the same category to passengers regardless if they board the ship early or late. However, no matter which floor the cabin is located, every cabin was equipped with the same facilities and comfort.

If you would like a cabin of the same category on a higher floor, a surcharge of 250 RMB per person will be charged.
