The following Terms & Conditions are only good for individual passengers who book our cruise ships directly on this website. Please read them carefully before you fill out the booking form. Once you submit the booking request, it means you agree to comply with the Terms & Conditions set forth by Wuhan Yangtze Cruise Co., Ltd. (WHYCC). These rules do not apply to the passengers booked through our contracted tour operators or travel agents.
·CRUISE FARE
Cruise fares are quoted in US dollars. All prices are per person based on twin-sharing occupancy both for standard cabins and suites.
The cruise fare covers accommodations, set meal plan, baggage service dockside to/from cabin, sightseeing & cultural, educational and entertainment programs during your stay on board.
Cruise fare does not include the transportation to/from the ship, shore excursions (unless otherwise stated), passport and visa fees, travel insurance, and expenses of personal nature, such as tips, drinks (other than in the meal plan), laundry, telecommunications, clinic, hairdressing and massage.
The group leader with 15 full paying passengers will travel free of charge taking a bed in our standard cabin. Cruise fares were based on the exchange rate published, and are subject to change.
·RESERVATION
We suggest you choose a professional tour operator or travel agent who has contract with us to book your China tour, including the cruise portion. Travel agents or tour operators that you choose are independent companies, and WHYCC is not responsible for the loss or damage to property or injury to persons, caused by reason of any act or omission, intentional, negligent or otherwise by such third party suppliers, who may have different terms and conditions with us. Passengers who book directly with us will have to comply with the following Terms & Conditions set forth by WHYCC.
·Shore excursions
Shore excursions listed in the itinerary are included in the cruise fare. However, there is no refund from WHYC regardless the shore excursions conducted or not. The shore excursions are operated by local independent contractors ( third party ) and WHYCC shall not be responsible in any way for any changes, omissions, or accidents or mishaps arising out of any services provided by such independent contractors. Facilities along the Yangtze River are relatively backward. Most docking facilities are floating barges with iron or wooden gangplanks. Passengers should be in good health and able to climb stone steps at local ports when going ashore. Gratuities for local guide service are not included in the cruise fare, and it is subject to your satisfaction of services rendered.
·Payment
A deposit of $150 per person is required within 7 days after the booking is made to secure a writing confirmation from WHYC. Final payment of the balance must be received at WHYC office 45 days prior to sailing date. Failure of the above could lead to an automatic cancellation of the originally confirmed booking without notice. We accept checks or major credit cards for payment.
·Cancellation Policy
Passengers who cancel for any reason will be subject to the following cancellation fees
Days before departure: cancellation fee ( per person)
Up to 60 days: $100
From 60 through 45 days (inclusive): $150
From 44 days through departure day: 100% of cruise fare
No-Show: 100% of cruise fare
There is no refund from WHYCC if a passenger, intentionally or negligently, terminates traveling during the cruise. Please note that a name change or date change is a “cancellation” resulting in a new reservation in the new name or a new date. In all cases, cancellation fees will apply accordingly and are non-refundable for any reason, including sickness or other emergencies.
·Cancellation or regulating of scheduled departure
While making every effort to adhere to the published schedules, WHYCC reserves the right to cancel or regulate its sailings in case of force majeure, acts of God, strikes, lock schedules, wars, acts of governmental authority, riots, terrorist acts or threats, weather, flood, water conditions and equipment malfunction, and WHYCC will not be held responsibility for the loss of passengers derived from above and will hold no liability for any compensation. Should a sailing be cancelled due to force majeur or events over which WHYCC has no control, WHYCC will endeavor to arrange substitute passage on an alternate vessel with refund of price difference. However, if passenger does not accept the change, WHYCC will fully refund passengers the cruise fare paid and received, but will not be responsible for the possible loss, inconveniences or additional expenses, unless specified in the agreement at the time of booking.
·Health requirements and refusal of passage
Passengers have to make sure they are in good health to travel, and will not compose any safety problems to the vessel or other passengers on board. WHYCC can not take the responsibility to take care of those who are physically or mentally disabled, who should be accompanied by an adult over 21 years old who should be taking full responsibility of looking after the disabled. If any medical equipment or special care is needed, please inform us in writing at the time of booking or before embarkation.
We can not accommodate women past their 3rd month of pregnancy. Passage may be refused to any passenger, and any passenger’s cruise may be terminated at any time, at the risk and expense of the passenger in the opinion of the Captain or the cruise doctor that a passenger is unfit for travel or a risk or danger to himself or herself or a disturbance or danger to others. Such passenger may be requested left at any port of place at which the ship calls without any liability to WHYCC, who shall not be requested to refund any portion of the fare paid by any passenger who must leave the cruise prematurely for any of the reasons set above or otherwise, nor shall WHYCC be responsible for any expenses incurred by the passenger.
Under specific circumstances, WHYCC reserves the right to take any appropriate actions. Passengers should bring enough of their own medical supplies required for the trip. Passengers in wheelchairs can not go ashore at some piers because of inadequate facilities. Passengers dependent on oxygen bag will not be allowed to embark the ship until certain requirements are met. Passengers with special needs should consult a travel professional.
·Limitation of liability
The responsibility of WHYCC is strictly limited. Under no circumstances does WHYCC’s responsibility extend beyond the vessel. By utilizing the services of the Suppliers off the boat, you agree that neither WHYCC nor any of the WHYCC parties (its owners, travel agents or tour operators who booked the tour for you) shall be liable for loss or damage to property or injury to person, caused by reason of any act or omission, intentional, negligent or otherwise, directly or indirectly by such Supplier or of any third party.. If a passenger missed the scheduled departure for any reason, WHYCC is not responsible for the expenses incurred prior to catch up the cruise that is in progress.
